Taylor Wimpey - Community Shoot

Taylor Wimpey’s been such a big company in the local area for that long now and producing some fantastic houses all over the North East and further afield. To be able to shoot for them on numerous occasions now has been really good. 

This shoot in particular was engaging with the local school kids on a site that is getting built right next to the school and to answer some of those questions that the kids might have - kids have always got questions, haven’t they? 

So to answer some of those questions that that kids have got, about, you know, making sure everybody’s safe and keeping off the site and what some of the jobs are on site and what some of the guys can do and how they can get involved in the future to be you know an apprentice on site and that sort of thing.
So it was great to be in class and listen to some of those questions. 

For a while, I used to be at schools quite regular with my previous role and obviously I’ve shot in plenty of schools over my time, so I really love the questions the kids come up with. I know I often think my child comes out with the best questions, but then you’re in a classroom and hear them all, they’ve all got such amazing questions that you’d never come up with if you had to think about it yourself. Logic sneaks in far too much into adults to ask the crazy questions I think, and the kids just do it, it’s fantastic. 

So yeah, this is just a bit of one of those kind of event things that I really enjoy doing. Taylor Wimpey are a fantastic client and I’m glad to be part of this and other shoots going forward.
