Go North East - Long Service Awards

Over the last 12 months or so, it’s been fantastic working with Go North East, the staple of the North East’s infrastructure and I feel like I’ve worked in many different bits of it now.

I think it started off with the award ceremonies which we’ve got again this this year and these pictures are from that but I’ve worked with the apprentices in the workshop, I’ve worked with the promotion PR images for the Toon tour bus and even more recently working with the marketing team on some new wall graphics and artwork that are going into refurbishment of some of the offices and it’s just great to hear the stories of some of these individuals that have been with Go North East for so many years.

The Long Service Awards that we did last year, it was just amazing to hear some of the tales of how many years, it’s like second generations near enough of families working in the service and to hear the positive messages and anecdotes that floated around the room were just absolutely brilliant and long may it continue! This year’s will be interesting again with the new batch of people that have hit the key milestones of 10, 15, 20 years of being there at least and there’s some with more than that.

Go North East is a company that’s been really, really good to work with and I’m looking forward to the next five or six projects that we’ve got lined up. I’m sure Laura Sharp will keep me busy with some new ideas probably involving massive sandwiches or the crocodiles but I’m sure she’ll explain more of that when we get the pictures of the end result. That one sounds like a secret code but it will make sense I promise!
